The Metro School Board honored a member of the Goodlettsville All-Stars baseball team during their meeting Tuesday night.
Lorenzo Butler set a Little League World Series record with nine RBI's. He also hit three homeruns and became the number one topic on Twitter at one point during the Little League World Series.
The seventh grade student told Nashville's News 2 being on the news has been the best part of his team's success.
The Goodlettsville All-Stars returned home late last month after winning the U.S. Little League Championship. The team fell short to Japan to take the World Series title.
