LEBANON, Tenn. -

Saint Thomas Health's mobile mammography unit is scheduled to make a stop in Wilson County this weekend.

The mobile mammography unit will be in Lebanon on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lowe's located at 634 South Cumberland Street.

The mobile service is offered to women age 40 and older who are not pregnant or breastfeeding, experiencing any breast problems, such as lumps or pain, or being followed by a physician for breast problems.

Recipients should not have had a mammogram in the past 12 months or have a personal history of breast cancer.

Those planning to undergo the procedure on Saturday should not use deodorants, powders or lotions on their chest and should wear a two piece outfit that can easily be removed above the waist.

The service will be performed on a first come, first serve basis.

For more information about this event or to schedule an appointment, contact Lori Ward at 615-284-6266 or visit OurMissionInMotion.com.

St. Thomas first unveiled the mobile mammography unit last June.
