CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -
Clarksville police arrested a man after he held a 15-year-old boy at knifepoint on Sunday night.
According to police, the incident occurred after the victim heard the sounds of a fight outside of a business in the 600 block of North Riverside Drive around 10:30 p.m.
Police reported as the teen walked toward the area of the fight he was approached by 24-year-old Michael Powers, who told him to leave.
Powers is said to have suddenly grabbed the boy by the shirt and pulled out a knife, which he then held to his throat.
Witnesses were able to subdue Powers until police arrived.
He was charged with aggravated assault and booked into the Montgomery County jail on a $25,000 bond.
