Several units of a Bellevue apartment complex were damaged during a two alarm fire Friday night. The fire was reported just before 7 p.m. at Bellevue Apartments located in the 800 block of Bellevue Road. Fire officials told Nashville's News 2 at least eight units were involved in the blaze, four of which were severely damaged. Officials said the fire sparked in a second floor unit in the G building before spreading to other units. One firefighter was transported to an area hospital with hypertension. No residents were injured. The American Red Cross is expected to assist the victims. The cause of the fire was not immediately known. Crews are expected to remain on the scene to tend to hot spots.
