NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Arrest warrants have been issued charging a 41-year-old Bellevue man with the fatal stabbing of his three neighbors.
Craig Garber will face three counts of criminal homicide following his release from the hospital.
Late Thursday, Garber was transferred from Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he underwent surgery for self-inflicted stab wounds, to a secure ward at General Hospital.
Police said Garber stabbed Michelle Pinkowski, 48, her mother, Marylea Jordan, 71, and Pinkowski's son, 14-year-old Jonathan Culpepper.
The trio was found dead at their Beech Bend Drive home early Sunday morning.
Pinkowski's nine-year-old daughter was home during the attack and escaped uninjured.
Metro police have been guarding Garber's hospital room around the clock.
He was last listed in stable condition.
