Wed PM Storms Leaving; Hot Thursday; Cool Weekend

Wednesday night's storms created some havoc across parts of Middle TN.

About 12 miles north of Centerville there was a house struck by lightning and one person was transported to the hospital.  Another house was struck by lightning in Forest Hills in Davidson County.

There were numerous reports of street flooding in Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties.  And trees were reported down in Davidson, Benton, Hickman, and Perry counties.

With the storms leaving, we are in for a very hot and humid Thursday with highs in the mid 90s and a heat index 100 degrees plus.

The heat will continue Friday, followed by storms Friday evening through Saturday morning with a cold front.

That front will cool us down and finally dry us out during the day on Saturday, setting the stage for 70s for highs and 50s for lows for several days.
