Driver injured after causing 2 separate accidents

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

At least one person was injured after being involved in two separate accidents late Wednesday afternoon.

The accidents were reported around 5:30 p.m. at Bell Road and Couchville Pike.

Captain Paul Trickey told Nashville's News 2 the same motorist was responsible for each of the accidents.

The driver was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

It was not immediately known if anyone else sustained injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
