Julia Green Elementary step closer to expanding

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A Metro school is one step closer to expanding in the near future.

On Tuesday night, the Metro Council voted to allow the school district to purchase two foreclosed homes next to Julia Green Elementary located on Hobbs Road.

The proposal requires one more vote to pass.

Currently around 580 students attend the school.
