JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - Jackson police say a 35-year-old woman has been shot at a Best Buy store, and a suspect is in custody.
The Jackson Sun reports that police say the woman is a contract worker who was stocking shelves when she was shot Tuesday morning. She survived the shooting and was being taken to a hospital.
A plain clothes officer found the 61-year-old man in the store parking lot. Police said the man held a gun to his head as police tried to arrest him, and he was subdued with a Taser.
A witness, Jennie Gibson, told the newspaper that a store employee led her and other customers to a back office when the shooting happened.
