2 charged in Hendersonville purse theft

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. -

Hendersonville police arrested two suspects following a purse theft at a local Walmart store.

The theft occurred Saturday at the Walmart on North Anderson Lane.

Police said the purse was taken from a woman's shopping cart.

Officers arrested Christopher Wales, 33, of Goodlettsville, and Amy Armstrong, 35, of Springfield, on charges of theft and criminal trespassing.

An October 22 court date has been set.
