Sunday: With the tropical low that is the remnants of Isaac passing to our north, we are experiencing the rain/t'storm bands that extend south out of the center of the low.
This afternoon there is the possibility that some of the storms in a few of these bands could be strong or severe with gusty winds and possibly an isolated brief tornado spin up.
The Storm Prediction Center has their Sight Risk area from Nashville southward.
Although the threat exists in Middle TN, the presence of more sunshine ahead of rain/t'storm bands in Mississippi and Alabama makes those areas much more vulnerable to severe weather.
My hope is that cloud cover across Middle Tennessee reduces our severe storm chances.
We will keep a close eye on Stormtracker throughout the day for any severe weather.
