Surveillance shows man stealing customer's wallet

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -

Murfreesboro police are working to identify the suspect shown on video surveillance stealing a wallet at the Super Cheap Discount Tobacco Outlet on Northwest Broad Street.

The theft happened on August 13.

Police said the wallet was left behind by a previous customer and contained more than $300.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 50s.

He possibly works at the nearby Logan's Roadhouse restaurant, police said.

Anyone with information on the suspect's identity is urged to call Murfreesboro police.
