NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police are working to identify the gunman who robbed an area Cricket cell phone store on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the business located in the 800 block of Briley Parkway.
Police reported the suspect entered the store and struck the clerk in the head with his handgun before he jumped over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
The clerk refused medical treatment.
The suspect is described as a white male, around five feet, eight inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.
