Masked suspect robs LaVergne SunTrust

LaVergne, Tenn. -

Police are investigating after a LaVergne bank was robbed on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred at SunTrust located on Murfreesboro Road just after 1 p.m.

Authorities said the suspect was wearing a green mask, a dark colored long sleeve shirt and blue jeans at the time of the crime.

The FBI is assisting in the investigation.

No additional information was released.
