NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Kenny Britt can finally return to the practice for the Tennessee Titans.
On Tuesday afternoon the Titans removed Britt from the physically unable to perform list, clearing his return.
However, Britt will not play in the Titans preseason finale against the New Orleans Saints Thursday night.
He will join the active roster Wednesday, allowing him to take part in any practice or session the Titans might have.
The receiver has been recovering from his third knee surgery since tearing his right ACL last September.
He had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in late June following two surgeries on his right knee.
Both Britt and the Titans are waiting to hear from the NFL if he faces punishment for a driving under the influence arrest in July.
It was his eighth run in with police since entering the NFL.
