Man placed on ‘Most Wanted' list for fatal nightclub shooting

MILAN, Tenn. -

On Tuesday, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation placed a Milan, Tennessee man on the state's "Top 10 Most Wanted" list for a recent fatal shooting in Henry County.

Tevin Lumpkin is wanted by the Henry County Sheriff's Department for first degree murder.

Authorities reported the 20-year-old shot 41-year-old Eric Kinley of Paris, Tennessee at a nightclub last week after the victim was involved in a confrontation with several other people.

Lumpkin has a criminal history that dates back to 2010 and includes attempted criminal homicide, assault on a police officer, aggravated assault, multiple other assault charges, drug charges and resisting arrest.

He is described as a black male, with brown eyes and black hair. He is known to wear his hair in dread locks.

Lumpkin is six feet, one inch tall and weighs around 170 pounds. He was last seen in an older model white Pontiac Bonneville with black hubcaps.

Authorities said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
