NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police charged a Nashville man with robbery late Monday night after he punched a diner at a local Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant and stole his dinner.
The victim told police he was approached by a man later identified as William Riley at the KFC located on Harding Place at Metroplex Drive.
According to the affidavit, Riley, 48, punched the victim twice in his face, took his KFC dinner and walked away.
Witnesses confirmed the victim's report to police.
Riley was located a short time later and taken into custody without incident.
He was charged with robbery and booked into the Metro jail on a $5,000 bond.
