A weak front is slowly pushing in from the northwest tonight. We can't rule out a few spotty t'showers this evening but most of us will be dry but a bit muggy with lows in the lower 70s.
That front will still be trying to make it's way through middle TN the first half of Tuesday, so once the sun is up then it is likely that scattered t'showers will develop east and south of Nashville. High temps will still make it to 90 degrees.
Isaac should become a hurricane later tonight. It still looks to be headed for a landfall near New Orleans late night Tuesday into early Wednesday morning. The system will bring middle Tennessee rain chances by Thursday and Friday (even Wed evening in our southernmost counties); however, it looks like the heaviest rains will stay well to our west.
We will have another update from the Hurricane Center to share on News 2 at 10.
