Ft. Campbell soldier killed in Afghanistan - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

FT. CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) - The U.S. Army says a soldier based at Fort Campbell, Ky., has been killed in Afghanistan.

The Army says 20-year-old Pfc. Patricia L. Horne of Greenwood, Miss., died Aug. 24 in Bagram, Afghanistan.

She was assigned to the 96th Aviation Support Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).

The military did not immediately release a cause of death.
