Yesterday I was blogging about Isaac bringing us rain. Now there are a few question marks.
You can see the latest track from the Hurricane Center shows it coming ashore not long after midnight early Wednesday morning.
The bottom picture shows what we call a "spaghetti plot" where we overlay the tracks from numerous different computer models on the map. Looks like a bunch of colored spaghetti, doesn't it?
However, notice the different model solutions. One model (in red) shows a curve to the east through Georgia. If that happens, we may not get any rain at all from Isaac.
Others are farther west by varying degrees, which would increase our chances.
My favorite model, the GFS, does like the red line, BUT then absorbs it westward into an upper level system giving us rain by Friday.
It all remains to be seen. Welcome to our world! We'll keep you posted!
