The weather looks dry and warm through the weekend and into early next week.
However, several computer models runs over the last 24 hours have shifted Isaac's track farther westward (that's not unusual!).
The latest forecast from the Hurricane Center has Isaac coming ashore in the Mobile/Pensacola area although that track surely will be "tweaked" as time goes on.
Notice the "cone of uncertainty" runs from New Iberia, LA to Cedar Key, FL.
Either way, a farther westward track could mean rain for Middle Tennessee from what will be the remnants of Isaac by the mid to later part of next week.
Tropical systems have been known to bring flooding to Middle Tennessee (Frederick in 1979, Mill Creek).
The hope is that this system will move quickly to give us much needed rain but not too much!
