NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A three-hour standoff kept police busy in Madison early Wednesday morning.
The incident began around 1 a.m. at a home located in the 3900 block of Dickerson Pike.
Police told Nashville's News 2 a woman had obtained a warrant against the suspect and when he arrived home Tuesday night, she called police.
Officers said the man refused to respond to police, so they set up a command outside the home and called for a police negotiator.
Just before 4 a.m., the man gave himself up to police.
The suspect faces domestic violence assault charges.
No one was injured.
