Sounds crush Omaha

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Jeff Bianchi went four for four and the Nashville Sounds routed Omaha 7-0 Tuesday night.

One of Bianchi's hits was his fifth homerun of the season. He also scored three runs in the victory.

Caleb Gindl continued his hot hitting blasting a pair of two-run homers giving him 11 for the season.

On the mound, Wily Peralta tossed five scoreless innings striking out eight for his seventh win of the season.

The Sounds start a series at Round Rock Wednesday night.
