HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. -
Hendersonville police overnight Monday recovered a pickup truck full of stolen tools worth thousands of dollars.
"Praise the Lord, I can work today," said Emanuel, one of the overnight victims who did not want his last name used.
The tile installer said he had $8,000 worth of tools taken out his locked truck in the Walton Ferry/Saunders Ferry peninsula area when someone apparently used a crowbar to jimmy a door.
Hendersonville police were called to the area in the wee hours when another burglary victim heard breaking glass.
Detectives called to the scene came across the blue pickup fleeing the scene with one individual inside.
The suspect was booked and his vehicle with the stolen goods was impounded.
His name was not immediately released.
Police are also looking for another individual believed to have fled the scene from the pickup.
