Quinn Schuler

Quinn Schuler joined News 2 as a general assignment reporter in August 2012. She's excited to meet new people and explore beautiful Middle Tennessee.

She started off her career as a reporter for the CBS affiliate in Lincoln, Neb., where she earned a first-place AP award for her work.

There, she also braved snow and tornados. Her boss once told her to follow the storm and if she spotted a tornado, "get in a ditch and point your camera up." He was only half joking. That's when she realized she had a job like no other.

Quinn traded the sub-zero winters in Nebraska for the triple digit summers in Arizona. She moved to Tucson where she reported for the NBC affiliate. Over the three years she spent there, she covered hot button issues like border security and immigration reform.

From there she headed to Orlando, Fla. where she reported for the CBS affiliate for two years.

Quinn was born and raised near Youngstown, Ohio, and attended college at Arizona State University. She received her broadcast journalism degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.

In her free time Quinn loves to hike, work out, hit the slopes, and cook unique meals in her slow cooker!

You can see Quinn's reports on News 2 This Morning from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.
