NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A Nashville man arrested over the weekend for two pharmacy robberies is now under investigation for a third.

Police said Roy Brown robbed two Walgreens locations less than an hour apart on Saturday morning.

The first robbery took place at the Walgreens located at 3880 Dickerson Pike around 8 a.m.

The second robbery occurred at 8:40 a.m. at the pharmacy located at 3130 Clarksville Pike.

Brown, 38, was caught shortly after the second robbery after an officer spotted him driving recklessly with two flat tires on Old Hickory Boulevard near Anthony Street.

Police said Brown appeared to be intoxicated and found multiple pill bottles inside his vehicle.

Brown is charged with two counts of robbery and DUI.  He is being held in lieu of a $65,000 bond.

Brown was on parole for the 2008 robbery of a Charlotte Pike motel at the time of his arrest, police said.
