A major traffic delay brewed on Interstate 24 East in Joelton after coffee spilled onto the roadway Monday morning.
Boxes of Keurig cups fell out of a tractor trailer around 6:30 a.m. after it struck another semi-truck parked on the side of the interstate at mile marker 32.
The impact pealed the siding of the moving trailer, causing the boxes of single serving coffee cups to spill out into the roadway.
Several of the boxes busted upon impact, spilling the coffee contents.
No one was injured.
One lane was closed while crews worked to clean up the mess. Drivers were urged to avoid the area.
The roadway reopened shortly after 7 a.m.
