Crews pull body from Cumberland River

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Emergency crews pulled a body from the Cumberland River late Friday afternoon.

The discovery was made around 3 p.m. near Clarksville Pike.

The person's identity was not immediately released.

Police believe the victim had been in the water for an extended period of time.

No additional information was released.
