Police find marijuana plants behind Clarksville home

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Police said a tip led them to a Clarksville home where four marijuana plants were discovered.

The illegal plants were located behind a residence located in the 3000 block of Nicole Road.

Authorities also discovered other illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the home.

Police arrested 33-year-old Edward Boyett of Cantona, Florida.

He is charged with manufacture of marijuana for sale or delivery, simple possession and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

His bond was set at $2,000.

Police estimated the marijuana plants are valued at more than $3,000.
