Driver loses control, overturns in south Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Haywood Lane at Keely Drive in south Nashville was shut down for about an hour early Friday morning following a rollover accident.

Metro police said a female driver was approaching Haywood Lane around 4:30 a.m. when she ran off the road, struck a fire hydrant, street sign and overturned.

She was not seriously injured and told police a car pulled out in front of her, causing her to lose control.

Haywood Lane was shut down for about an hour while the scene was cleared.
