CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

A crash involving three vehicles Wednesday evening in Clarksville claimed the life of a 65-year-old woman and injured her husband.

The crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. on 101st Parkway at Ringgold Road.

Police said Alonso Tovar, 41, attempted to make a left turn onto Ringgold Road but failed to yield and was hit by a Honda Accord driven by 64-year-old Dae Kang.

The Honda continued on and crashed into a stopped Toyota 4Runner and then struck a stop sign.

Kang and his wife, Tae Kang, were transported to Gateway by ambulance where Tae Kang died a short time later.

Dae Kang was treated and released Thursday morning.

No one else was injured.

The investigation is ongoing.  Tae Kang's cause of death is also still under investigation.
