The two men were believed to be driving an Altima that was stolen from Davidson County.
A stolen laptop and wallet were also located inside the vehicle.

Two alleged thieves are behind bars thanks in part to an alert citizen and some aggressive police work.
The citizen called police early Thursday morning after noticing unusual cars driving around the upscale 12 Stones subdivision.
Officers quickly saturated the neighborhood and located an abandoned vehicle determined to have been stolen in Nashville.
A short distance away, police found two young men on foot who quickly become suspects in the case.
The men had a key to the stolen car and one later admitted he knew the car was stolen.
A search of the car turned up a stolen laptop computer and wallet allegedly stolen from a home in neighborhood.
"They [officers] did a good job, and went beyond the call of duty on what you would see for a stolen vehicle," Chief Richard Pope said.
The young men, 22-year-old Travis Cook and 18-year-old Bennie Hackney, both face felony theft.
Police said they plan to interview then men regarding other unsolved crimes in the area.
Additional charges are possible.
Cook is said to have previously been arrested on drug and burglary charges.
