The next August cold front that we have been talking about all week long still looks like it will arrive on Friday with showers and t'storms, followed by the second weekend in a row of cool temperatures for this time of the year.
As the front arrives, a few of the storms may contain gusty, damaging winds and hail. Nashville will see some storms but The Storm Prediction Center thinks the chances for stronger storms are in the south and east sections of Middle Tennessee.
This is primarily because they should be in that region during the afternoon when temperatures are the warmest.
Over the weekend, we should see low 80s for highs with 50s to near 60 for a low, and the cool temperatures continue into Monday of next week.
