Man shot in hand during altercation at Mapco

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A man was shot in the hand during a planned meeting at a gas station in Hermitage Wednesday night.

Police told Nashville's News 2 the shooting happened just after 10 p.m. at the Mapco located on Old Hickory Boulevard at Andrew Jackson Parkway.

After the shooting, the suspect fled in the victim's Chevrolet TrailBlazer. The SUV has Wilson County tags.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives plan to investigate why the two men were meeting in the first place.
