Telephone pole falls on car in Cool Springs

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -

Emergency personnel responded to an injury accident Wednesday afternoon near the Cool Springs Galleria mall.

The crash was reported around 4 p.m. on Moores Lane at Galleria Boulevard just off Interstate 65.

Police told Nashville's News 2 an 18-wheeler traveling west on the roadway caught a cable wire, partially pulling the pole through a passerby's vehicle and flipping the woman's car.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area immediately following the accident.

No additional information was released.
