Empty box causes scare outside south Nashville Kroger - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

A suspicious package left outside a south Nashville gas station Wednesday morning turned out to be just an empty box.

Authorities responded to the Kroger gas station, located at the intersection of Nolensville Pike and Old Hickory Boulevard, just before 11 a.m.

Police set up a command, but it was terminated about 30 minutes later.

Traffic was impacted during that time.

The scene was cleared after the package turned out to be an empty and posed no threat.
