NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A Nashville couple charged last December in a crash that left two young men dead has been indicted by a Davidson County grand jury.
Trevor Bradshaw and Erin Brown were indicted last week on two felony counts each of vehicular homicide by intoxication and one felony count each of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Bradshaw additionally faces misdemeanor counts for leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury, leaving the scene of an accident involving vehicle damage and duty upon striking a figure.
A third person, Jordan Hawbaker, a witness to the crash, also received a felony indictment for one count accessory after the fact for allegedly telling Bradshaw to flee the crash scene.
Bradshaw was behind the wheel of the SUV that hit Michael Brooksher and Tommy Allen as they crossed Demonbreun Street in the early morning hours of December 10.
Bradshaw's girlfriend and front seat passenger Erin Brown is also charged because police said she gave Bradshaw the keys to her SUV even though she knew he was drunk.
The 23-year-old Allen passed away from injuries sustained in the crash in early February. Brooksher, 22, died December 12.
Allen's family has since filed a lawsuit against Bradshaw and Brown and the company that hosted the holiday party the pair attended earlier in the night.
Metro Government is also named in the lawsuit, which seeks a total of $15 million in damages.
