
One person was injured in a crash involving a school bus Wednesday morning in Ashland City.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the collision occurred around 8 a.m. on Highway 12 at Chapmansboro Road.
A school district spokesperson said there were three special education students on board the bus at the time en route to Cheatham County Central High School.
The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The students were not injured.
The driver of the SUV, a teenager, was also not injured.
Initial reports indicate the teen rear-ended the school bus.
