ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. -
Seven people were injured in an early morning crash on Interstate 81 in Virginia Tuesday involving a tour bus en route to New York City from Tennessee.
The wreck was reported just after 4 a.m. in Rockingham County when the driver of a tractor trailer changed lanes and collided with the bus.
There were a total of 40 passengers on board the bus, which reportedly started its trip in Nashville.
Five passengers and the driver of the bus were injured.
The truck driver, 29-year-old Dean Crawford, was also injured.
He faces reckless driving charges.
The crash remains under investigation.
