LEBANON, Tenn. -
A heavily traveled roadway in Wilson County is closed on Tuesday afternoon following a collision involving a tractor trailer and train.
The accident occurred around 1 p.m. on Brisken Lane.
According to police, the tractor trailer was traveling west when it was struck by a Nashville Eastern Train.
The truck reportedly rolled over into a ditch, blocking the road.
Police Chief Scott Bowen told Nashville's News 2 it will be several hours before the roadway reopens.
Officials said the accident will not affect the Music City Star since the incident occurred east of the Lebanon station.
No injuries were reported.
