Sumner County deputy fired for taking pictures of teen

SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. -

A Sumner County deputy was fired over the weekend following an incident involving a minor late last month.

According to authorities, 25-year-old Deputy Christopher Cunningham reportedly stopped a vehicle with a female minor and two other teens on July 26.

Cunningham allegedly had the teens go back to their home where he took unlawful photographs of the teenage girl.

He is charged with taking unlawful photographs, violation of privacy and official misconduct.
