Man arrested for 4th DUI after hitting parked car

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -

Franklin police arrested a man for his fourth DUI offense after he crashed into a parked car early Sunday morning.

Richard Kloete was taken into custody after police were called to the Westhaven subdivision to investigate the crash.

Upon their arrival, officers found the 54-year-old man unconscious with his foot resting on the gas petal, with his car still running and in drive.

Police determined Kloete was impaired.

He has since been released on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court next Thursday.
