The family of Shorish Faraj is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for his murder.
Faraj, 28, was shot on the night of July 17 outside the Prestige Point Apartments in south Nashville last month.
Responding officers found Faraj and his girlfriend, Guadalupe Garcia, 46, with gunshot wounds.
Both were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where Faraj died. Garcia was treated and released.
At the time of his death, Metro police said Faraj was named in the recent gang injunction filed against certain alleged members of the Kurdish Pride Gang.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
A vehicle of interest in the homicide is a gray or silver Impala with a spoiler, possibly driven by a black man with dreadlocks.
Anyone with information about Faraj's murder is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.

The $5,000 reward, offered through October 7, is in addition to up to $1,000 reward offered by Crime Stoppers.
