NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police are searching for the masked gunman who robbed a West End bank Thursday afternoon.
The robbery was reported around 2:30 p.m. at the Civic Bank and Trust located at 3325 West End Avenue.
According to police, the suspect, who was armed with a handgun, entered the bank yelling, "Robbery! Robbery!"
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the gunman fled the scene in a silver 2003 or newer model Toyota Camry possibly driven by a second person.
At the time of the crime, the suspect was wearing a mask, sunglasses and a blue ball cap.
