Motorcyclist seriously injured in Murfreesboro crash

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -

Murfreesboro police are continuing to investigate after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. near 235 North Rutherford Boulevard.

Police reported the motorcycle and a truck collided in the roadway.

The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

It was unknown if the driver of the truck was injured.

The victims' identities were not immediately released.

No additional information was released.
