NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A Southwest flight attendant was injured on Wednesday afternoon on a non-stop flight from Orlando to Nashville.
Airport officials told Nashville's News 2 the injuries stemmed from severe turbulence during the flight.
The airline employee was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The flight attendant's identity or condition was not immediately known.
Flight 599 landed in Nashville just after 2 p.m.
