Tullahoma National Guard soldiers to depart Saturday

TULLAHOMA, Tenn. -

A portion of the National Guard's 1175th Combat HET Unit is scheduled to leave on Saturday for a year-long deployment.

The 39 soldiers, which are composed of three detachments including Brownsville, Jacksboro and Tullahoma, will depart the Tullahoma armory at 9 a.m.

The servicemen will be deployed to Bahrain to provide security and installation protection duties.

Tullahoma's armory is located at 1402 East Carroll Street.
