NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police detectives are working to identify the knife-wielding man who is suspected of robbing two convenience stores during the early morning hours of August 8.
In the first case, police said the suspect entered the Daily's located at 7691 Highway 70 South in Bellevue at 4:50 a.m. and demanded cash at knifepoint.
The clerk and suspect struggled before the robber fled with six packs of cigarettes.
Approximately 30 minutes later, he entered the Mapco located at 4314 Harding Pike in Belle Meade and again demanded cash at knifepoint.
The cashier complied.
