Fugitive wanted for attempted 2nd degree murder charges

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -

Murfreesboro police are searching for a 21-year-old man who is wanted for attempted second degree murder charges.

Alexis Lopez-Rodriguez previously pled guilty to attempted second degree murder in July for the shooting and attempted murder of Casey Skinner in October 2011.

According to police, while on bond waiting for sentencing, Lopez-Rodriguez removed his GPS unit that monitored his location and fled.

Lopez-Rodriguez, who is a resident of Antioch, is five feet, 10 inches tall and weighs around 155 pounds.

Authorities said he should be considered dangerous.
