NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire Tuesday morning at a vacant apartment building near the campus of Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
The fire broke out around 9:20 a.m. at the building located at 1502 18th Avenue South.
Fire crews called for backup 20 minutes later.
The flames were out by 10 a.m.
Officials on the scene said the building has been vacant for sometime and there was no electricity running to the structure.
No one was injured.
